Men at the Cross is a rapidly growing Christian movement aimed at equipping and inspiring men of faith to mentor other men, ultimately encouraging them to be better disciples of Jesus. The movement sponsors gatherings at arenas across the nation. There are 18 of these events planned for this year in locations from Chicago to Atlanta, including two local events in Tampa and Jacksonville, Fla.

Cross International appears as the featured international ministry in a video shown at each event and receives a third of the proceeds. A national ministry and a local ministry are also featured in the short video. Cross will also have an exhibition booth at the events where attendees can learn more about the ministry, meet some of the staff, and make donations.
“Joe wants to see the poor helped so much that even with a program geared toward discipleship he can’t get away from helping the poor,” Schutt says.
The first Men at the Cross event is slated for July 17 at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, MO.
