STAR Ananda announces 'Shera Bangali' Awards 2009

Limited) Star Ananda (http://www.staranandalive.com) in an effort to felicitate people who have done Bengal proud nationally and internationally.

This is in accordance with the channel’s aim of reflecting and catalyzing the growth and resurgence of Bengal and also contribute to this process continually. Shera Bangali is an earnest effort in this direction because it recognizes individuals who have not only achieved excellence in their respective fields but have also helped to bring Bengal in the national as well as international limelight.

Apart from paying tribute to the Bangali who reflects the glory of the community through her/his achievement, it instills a sense of pride in the minds of the common man

STAR Ananda plays the role of the true leader connecting the heroes to their people.

It is a star studded event held in a premium venue in Kolkata. The entire event can be divided into two segments. The first half consists of the felicitation and the second half contains the entertainment quotient
