CHARLESTON, S.C.--Custom motorcycle artist Harley Kegley recently expanded his talents to include transforming — of all things— a bathtub. Manufacturer Victoria & Albert Bath commissioned Kegley to showcase the customizable qualities of its ENGLISHCAST™
Reflecting Victoria & Albert’s proud Anglo-American heritage, Kegley transformed the standard white ios bathtub to feature the Stars and Stripes on one side and the Union Jack on the other.

“I painted it using the same process I use to custom paint a motorcycle, boat, guitar, or show rifle,” says Kegley, adding that this is the first bathtub “canvas” he’s tackled during his 30-year career.
He applied a base coat of clear acrylic urethane, then used a hand-cut paint mask stencil combined with a free hand for a soft edge.
Kegley’s transformation of the ios tub into an eye-catching work of art illustrates the versatility of a Victoria & Albert tub, says U.S. sales and marketing manager Karl Schuele.
“Victoria & Albert bathtubs offer customers options and flexibility,”
The patriotically painted ios will be visiting select showrooms over the next 12 to 18 months to showcase the versatility of the company’s solid surface tubs.
