CHARLESTON, S.C.—Bestselling romance novelist Nora Roberts is the latest celebrity to “fall in love” with a Victoria & Albert bathtub. Actress Kristen Scott-Thomas and TV personality and designer Ryan Brown also selected Victoria & Albert bathtubs for their homes.
Roberts chose three of the company’s designs – a classic clawfoot Roxburgh, spoon-shaped Napoli and sophisticated Monaco– for her recently opened hotel, the Inn BoonsBoro in Boonsboro, Maryland. Roberts owns the hotel and has been closely involved in its design.
“The shapes particularly were so fabulous, and so perfect for the feel and tone of each room,” says Roberts.
The sleek Napoli bathtub was also the centerpiece of choice for both Scott-Thomas and Brown's personal homes. Scott-Thomas, best known for her roles in the films The English Patient and Four Weddings and A Funeral, choose a Napoli tub as a focal point in the master bath of her home in France.
The Napoli soaking tub also fits well in the mod style of Brown’s 1950s California home. An interior designer and real estate developer, Brown stars in Bravo TV's hit series, “Flipping Out.”
