IntertechPira is pleased to announce the dates for the 2009 Carbon Capture World Summit in Arlington, Virginia. Set to take place on September 22-24, this event represents one of the only truly internationally-
With the new administration's clear support of CCS and with many international bodies supporting carbon capture in both regulations and financing, many companies in a variety of industries are likely to be affected in significant ways.
With a strong focus on government and practical information for the power generation and heavy industries, the Carbon Capture World Summit will provide the audience with a forum in which to discuss the CCS debate prior to the Copenhagen Climate Conference in December. The event will be split into two days – the first focusing on international regulatory and financing updates, while the second day will be more of a nuts and bolts approach with case studies from the fields of power generation and coal, steel and cement and practical information for those companies facing CCS legislation. Attendees can choose to attend one or both days.
With presentations from government officials, financial institutions, law firms and leading industry experts, and with several open discussion panels, the Carbon Capture World Summit will be the international CCS summit of the Fall.
