Welsh based electronic design firm, Quantum CAD ventured to Margam Park to focus on their most valuable asset – their people.
With 1/3 of their team represents countries outside the UK (Poland, Russia and USA) communication and teamwork is key to Quantum CAD’s success. Not only do they have cultural diversity that could create business obstacles, but managing four different departments ranging from Engineering to Marketing can also make internal communication a challenge.
So how does Quantum overcome these potential hurdles to be the growing success we see today?
-Teambuilding and Training
With the help of Training Wales, Quantum CAD dedicated time to increase team communication, leadership, and enthusiasm. By working through various activities, their elite team was able to learn more about each other’s personalities and work techniques resulting in a record smashing £59.7 million in 37 second! (based on the roller ball simulation)

After 15 years in business, Quantum CAD has established themselves as a major contender in the PCB and electronic design community throughout UK and Europe. Its clients are drawn from various sectors including defence, aerospace, medical, telecommunications, and automotive. The firm has attracted major clients including Rolls Royce, Bosch, Sony, Panasonic, Bose, HP, Ford, McLaren, Tyco and QinetiQ and is looking to further expand into new markets throughout Europe.
