Boca Raton, Florida-based designer Jeanne Bice, creator of Quacker Factory embellished apparel and accessories is launching a new collection of charm bracelets and charm jewelry at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market.

Starting over thirty years ago as proprietor of The Silent Woman, a specialty retail shop in Ripon, Wisconsin, selling gifts, accessories and embellished clothing, Bice is today one of America’s best known and successful fashion designers.
Millions of women know Quacker Factory and Jeanne Bice from her 14 years on QVC, where the Quacker Factory line of embellished apparel is a top seller. Her Quacker Factory shows are among the most watched in the 90 million homes viewing QVC. Wearing her trade-mark head band, Jeanne is recognized everywhere she goes as ‘the Quacker lady—who makes happy clothes.’
Famous for her whimsical, embellished clothing designs, Bice has a philosophy of life that attracts millions of viewers, and helps make her the highest dollar-per-minute apparel brand on QVC.
“I tell people to reach for the moon; the least that will happen is that they’ll fall among the stars. Everybody needs some ‘sparkle and shine’ and that’s what we give them.’
Her customers call themselves Quackers, and when they see each other in her clothes, they’ll say ‘Quack, Quack!’ and make new friends.” Many have formed a network and meet regularly, including taking cruises together.
Jeanne Bice is also a successful author of several best-selling books, including ‘Pull Yourself Up by Your Bra Straps’. She has appeared on numerous national television shows including ‘The View’, Bonnie Hunt, E! Entertainment’
Bice explains her jewelry concept this way: “I believe life is a journey. Just when we think we’ve reached our destination, things happen and we realize we’ve still got a long way to go. Along the way we experience all kinds of moments: happy moments, loving moments, family moments, holiday moments, and fantasy moments. And yes, some sad moments. For years I remembered those moments in a journal or in a scrap book, but nobody ever saw them except me. Then I decided to start a charm bracelet—where I could put reminders of the moments I wanted to remember, including some that had not yet happened. Now I can re-live them and treasure them by wearing them everyday. People love to hear the stories behind the charms.
“That’s what this is all about. That’s why we named our collection Quacker Factory Moments to Remember, and the bracelet is named Quacker Factory Memory Keeper. With our charm jewelry people can capture the stories of their life, and create a legacy to keep forever. I’ve been working on this concept for years, so this really a dream come true for me.”
Forever Ducky LLC is the exclusive distributor for the Quacker Factory jewelry line. “We choose Forever Ducky because they impressed us with their extensive background in the jewelry business and commitment to quality which is critical to us,” said Tim Bice, President of Quacker Factory. “Everything we do is designed to exceed the customer’s expectations. And believe me the Head Quack won’t have it any other way.”
The Quacker Factory Jewelry collection can be seen at Booth 1318, Building 3, 4th Floor.
