The Recently Passed Cash For Clunkers Bill Has Support In Central Florida

their gas guzzler for a more fuel efficient new vehicle. The bill has been supported locally by Central Florida Chrysler Jeep Dodge who is currently waiting for details to implement the program. The dealership has several different models of cars, trucks, minivans, and SUV’s that can offer customers the improved gas mileage that is needed to qualify for the rebate.

Important things to know are: Your vehicle must be less than 25 years
old at trade-in. It is good only for the purchase or lease of a new vehicle.
Generally, trade-in vehicles must get 18 miles or less MPG.
Large pick-up trucks and cargo vans have different requirements.
You do not need a voucher, Central Florida Chrysler Jeep Dodge will
apply a credit at purchase.
Trade-in vehicles must be registered and insured for a full year preceding
the new purchase. Vehicles traded-in will be destroyed.
It is expected the program will start in August and run through November1.
