Kate Ford, Mortgage Translator
A few weeks ago, Kate Ford hummed and hawed, backspaced and erased. Nothing expressed how much she appreciated the mortgage community. Now she has come up with an idea, her way of giving back to the industry so beleaguered by the financial crisis hitting the United States.
As some of you know, Kate Ford was in mortgage lending for over 20 years. Due to an accident, she was forced to stop originating mortgages in 2006. Even so to this day, Kate's blood runs thick with lending and since she had no desire to retire, she runs a mortgage information website called Get-Your-Best-
Anyway as one of her friends recently remarked, retirement and death seem to be closely related.
But to get to the point, a few weeks ago Kate had a light bulb moment. It was a brilliant idea, one of offering a nationwide directory to support mortgage lenders.
So Kate has been busy building her mortgage lender directory called List Of Mortgage Companies. It offers lenders an opportunity to promote their businesses and receive a link back to their websites or blogs. It is organized by the 50 states and alphabetized by city.
