MCA-I Detroit sets sail once again at 6th Annual Cruise aboard the Diamond Jack River Boat.

One of Detroit's most anticipated summer cruises is back for the 6th year and ready to set sail with all walks of media from movie studio owners and actors to editors, producers and media specialists.

PR Log (Press Release)Jul 03, 2009 – Once again the Detroit Chapter of Media Communications Association- International will provide an optimal chance for media professionals, affiliates and friends to set sail aboard the Diamond Jack River Cruise Boat on Friday August 21, 2009 for an evening of food, fun mingling and dancing at the 6th annual cruise. While the annual event offers attendees the opportunity to sit back and relax, it is also a chance for them to take part in the networking experience.


Each year the Detroit Chapter of MCA-I sets sail from the docks of Hart Plaza with a boat load of friends. Guests enjoy great appetizers, desserts and conversation over drinks and spend the evening watching the sun set while dancing the night away. The cruise offers people a chance to learn more about the professional development organization and it's purpose. It also presents the perfect chance for one to take advantage of tranquility via the peaceful waves along the shoreline of the Detroit River with Canada as a backdrop. Check in begins dockside at 6pm and cruise begins promptly at 7pm departing from the Hart Plaza Docks.  


The event is FREE to all MCA-I members and non members pay just $30.00 however if you book your ticket prior to July 24, 2009 tickets are just $20.00 per person. All members should RSVP as soon as possible and payments can be made online at www.detroitmcai.org or by check to Detroit MCAI -PO Box 935 Royal Oak MI, 48067. This is one of the cities best events that leaves attendees excited about the next one before they even leave the docks!
