Gaining popularity among mobile users does nor always mean success but may sometimes mean collapse.
Interlecta, the well known developers of mobile and desktop translation services had to stop their services because of the excessive number of users visiting their website and using their software. This unexpected and sudden rise of interest forced Interlecta to temporarily cancel their services and meant extra work for their support team as hundreds of users demanded to know the reason why their applications have stopped working.
The Support department are not the only ones who will have to work overtime. During the weekend the Development department will need to do some extra work on the upgrade of the system and set the new equipment.
“We are working on the problem and everything will go back to normal before the end of the week. The server overload only shows that our popularity is growing and our software meets people's demands,” said a speaker of the company.
