"We're thrilled our commitment to being a great place to work is placing us on lists of the best workplaces for the third year in a row," said Tim Gibbons, CEO and President of Pharmacy OneSource. "We feel that this commitment significantly contributes to the high quality of service our teammates provide our clients worldwide."
Seattle Business magazine honored 100 of Washington State's Best Companies to Work For 2009 an awards dinner held June 26, 2009 at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center in Seattle. Winning companies were recognized for setting the standards for leadership, benefits, work environment, innovative training programs, happiest employees and more.
More than 10,000 employees of nominated companies filled out surveys administered by Seattle-based research firm Ipsos. From the calculated research, a distinguished panel of judges chose the top companies. A full list of the winners of the 100 Best Companies to Work For 2009 awards can be seen on www.seattlebusinessmag.com.
Separately, after an extensive and rigorous process, the Puget Sound Business Journal identified workplaces in four different categories as Washington's best, based on their various employee benefit offerings, leadership culture and work/life balance philosophies. In total, 66 companies have made the grade as finalists.
The finalists – 21 small companies, 20 medium-sized companies, 20 large companies, and five nonprofits – will be celebrated at a one-of-a-kind awards event at Safeco Field on Aug. 20. For more information, visit www.wabestworkplaces.com.
