Renowned PKD Expert and Researcher Joins the ARPKD/CHF Alliance's Professional Advisory Board

The ARPKD/CHF Alliance (http://www.arpkdchf.org) is pleased to announce Dr. Ellis Avner has joined the ARPKD/CHF Alliance's Professional Advisory Board.  

Dr. Ellis Avner is a renowned PKD researcher, prolific author, and prominent PKD clinician.  He is considered a PKD expert and is Director at the Children's Kidney Disease Research Program at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, and the PKD Clinic at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.  The latter is solely dedicated to suspected or known pediatric ARPKD or ADPKD patients and offers multidisciplinary care, diagnosis, and comprehensive treatment, including Nephrologists, Hepatologists, Geneticists/Genetic counselors, and a specialized team of pediatric nurse specialists, dieticians, social workers, and behavioral health specialists at http://www.chw.org/display/PPF/DocID/33494/Nav/1/router.asp.

In addition, Dr. Avner is the recipient to many awards and honors.  The ARPKD/CHF Alliance welcomes Dr. Ellis Avner!
