Russell Grant attended the Glastonbury Festival at the weekend as a guest presenter for Glastonbury Radio. About an hour before the headline performance by Bruce Springsteen, Russell was allegedly part of hush hush operation to be taken backstage to give a Tarot reading for "the Boss".
Apparently Springsteen had seen a write up The Times about Russell being on site, and had sent a representative from his entourage to go and find Russell at Glastonbury Radio's backstage Winnebago!
It is understood that the reading took place backstage just before his sensational stage appearance on Saturday night, but that Russell was "sworn to secrecy" and made no comment about the reading.
Russell also did readings for numerous celebrities on site at the festival including Jade Jagger.
The Astrologer Royal was added to the presentation team of fast-growing online radio station Glastonbury Radio, and his interviews will be played out on the station next week. People can listen online at www.glastonburyradio.net
