July 1, 2009 Atlanta, GA – Hip-hop and rap have been accused of not offering anything new in a very long time. The artists either sound the same or only appeal to a select group of listeners. 300 is quickly changing the game with a mixture of true hip-hop beats with r&b hooks, rock inspired sounds with rap vocals and lyrics that are very appealing to the ladies and relatable to the fellas. Then, just to throw you off, they hit you with some of that street rap. You know, the way LL used to do it!
The group 300: Montana, Talley, and Cheese, now in Atlanta, GA, are originally from Peoria, IL; birthplace to the great Richard Pryor. Inspired by artists such as T.I. and Lil Wayne, 300 writes their own lyrics, produces their own beats, and take you on a lyrical journey incorporating rock, r&b, hip-hop, and rap – and making it sound good! And, the ladies swoon over their devastating looks and sexual lyrics.
300 already has a very large following in their hometown, and are increasing their fan-base nationally thanks to MySpace, Facebook, and Twitter. Their sexy hit single “1 on 1” has quickly become a fan favorite and is the most requested song during their performances. Another single, “Pocket Full of Money” is being re-recorded this week with the live metal band, Raising Cain performing the instrumentals.
As they prepare for sure stardom, 300 just participated in the filming of the highly anticipated new reality series entitled, House of V! You definitely do NOT want to let this group pass you by! Keep up with them at: www.worldof300.com or follow them on TWITTER: www.twitter.com/
