“Our annual summer convention is a blessed time for the Church. This entire event is designed to teach and empower our youth, young leaders and families through spiritual formation that focuses on the advancement of the Kingdom and to remind everyone of God’s promises for His people,” said Presiding Bishop Charles E. Blake, Sr.
People attend AIM from all over the United States and 59 countries abroad. The convention also features Music and Youth, Missions and Evangelism and Sunday School ministries that will meet in daily sessions. Other events include: scholastic motivation, Bible Bowl, spelling bee competitions, math, drill teams, basketball tournaments, pageants and musicals.

Events will begin on Saturday, June 27, 2009 with preconvention activities. The official opening of the 2009 AIM Convention will take place on June 29, hosted by the Florida Local AIM Committee.
