There was a steady flow of visitors to the Maeda stand throughout the show, representing many industries from construction and utilities through to a powered access company looking to expand its offerings.
The completion of a deal saw Tony Gettins and Phil Lomax of Tracked Access, the Surrey-based UK distributor of Palazanni tracked access machines and Maeda Mini Crane rental specialists, take delivery of their 25th Maeda Mini Crane.
The MC285CRM-E was purchased at the Vertikal Days exhibition and has already been delivered and put out on rental. Tony Gettins, MD of Tracked Access, purchased his first Maeda Mini Crane in March 2006 and has continued to grow his rental fleet over the past 3 years.
Gettins said “Mini Cranes form a large percentage of our business and the Maeda product and support from Kranlyft UK has enabled us to surpass our growth expectations.”
Managing Director Terry Marnock had this to say about the show: “Everyone that came to our stand was extremely positive about the future with new jobs coming up and business seemed, if not booming, at least to be on the up once again. With meetings and deals lined up we are looking forward to healthy growth in the next 6 months of the year.”
