July 1, 2009 - PRLog -- VISAKHAPATNAM: (http://csrem.ac.in)The Centurion School of Rural Enterprise Management (CSREM), Parlakhemundi, has recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with SAP, India, to become a part of their global university alliance.

Disclosing this to newsmen who met him here on Tuesday, managing trustee of Centurion Group of Institutes (CGI) D. N. Rao said that students of the group of institutes would have access to authorised SAP training in ABAP IV as well as functional modules of SAP. He said that the group was the only authorised university alliance partner in Orissa while XIM, Bhubaneswar, was the other authorised training institute.

Placement record

CSREM, set up in 2006, has equity participation from the Governments of India and Orissa. He said that the institute has a 100 per cent placement record with all the students, who passed out of the first batch last year, being placed with various companies. Of the 54 students, who passed out of the second batch, 52 were already given placements and the remaining two would also be recruited soon. This was achieved in spite of the global recession.

Prof. Rao said that admissions into PG Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM), approved by the AICTE, would be through nationally conducted tests like ICET and MAT. Admissions into engineering at Jagannath Institute of Technology and Management (JITM) would be done on the basis of ranks obtained in AIEEE examinations or the Orissa JE Examination.
