Santa Rosa, CA July 5, 2009 – Bonafide Sound and Peace, Love & Light Productions invites you to attend an All-star lineup of performers with deep spiritual vibrations and a higher purpose the day after Independence at the new hotspot The Casbar nightclub located inside the Days Inn.
The Abyssinians with their anthem – Satta Massagana – are one of the premier roots reggae foundation vocal groups of all time sprouted amongst the greats like Bob Marley and Peter Tosh. They are a group of highly talented vocalists, with excellent harmonies, good intentions and inspirational messages. They are well loved and respected worldwide.
Co billing with The Abyssinians, Etana is the new upcoming female sensation dominating the airwaves. She is the number one artist in Jamaica – no doubt about it. She is young and bright, with a powerful voice and good songs. This year she won every single female artist award in Jamaica - best singer of the year, best album of the year, etc. - six awards. Fresh and gifted, this twenty four year old spirited and soulful singer/ songwriter is now loved and accepted by the people in Jamaica and abroad. This tour features the best of the old and the new - top caliber artists.
Bonafide Sound is a group of motivated, scholarly and multi-talented young men who are pleased to be a part in the growing community and also introduce to the public a wide variety of new progressive music native to the Caribbean. The versatility of the group business ventures and entertainment niche is a reflection of their diverse heritage background and dedication to sustainability. Some big acts recently presented include Capleton, I-Wayne, Chezidek, Mr. Perfect to name a few.
The newly renovated Casbar nightclub inside the Days Inn located at 3345 Santa Rosa Ave is a new edition to a family of long standing small business owners in the community committed to bringing Santa Rosa a variety of musical entertainment, ranging from inspiring indie rock bands to world famous Latin performers. The establishment is characterized by the hands-on, hardworking ethics that’s family structured and goes to great length to help nourish the local economy. Tickets are $15 at the door and must be 21 with a valid id to enter. Doors open 9pm sharp with Bonafide Sound selecting some of the hottest tunes.
