ECG Simulator 1.0 is a software ECG / EKG Simulator designed for use by instructors in teaching basic ECG recognition and interpretation.
Designed by Pace Symposia, Inc., an authorized provider of American Heart Association ACLS, PALS and BLS classes in the state of California, ECG Simulator 1.0 can generate over 287 unique cardiac rhythms. Basic rhythms include Normal Sinus Rhythm, Atrial Tachycardia, Atrial Flutter, Atrial Fibrillation, Idioventricular Rhythm, Ventricular Tachycardia, Ventricular Fibrillation, Asystole, Junctional Rhythm, First Degree AV Block, Second Degree AV Block, Second Degree AV Block Type II, Third Degree AV Block, and various Pacemaker Rhythms.
Rhythms can be changed dynamically and changes transition seamlessly from one rhythm to the next, allowing realistic scenarios to be simulated. Heart rates can be increased or decreased and various ectopic activity can be introduced, such as Premature Atrial Complexes (PAC), Premature Junctional Complexes (PJC), and Unifocal, Mulifocal and Couplet Premature Ventricular Complexes (PVC).
The introduction of an affordable software EKG Simulator will reduce the cost and complexity of teaching Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) classes for small training institutions and hospitals.
ECG Simulator 1.0 comes in three versions. The professional version is licensed for use by instructors and training centers in teaching and reviewing basic ECG recognition and interpretation. The standard version is licensed for private use only. There is also a 30-day private use license designed to be used as a study aid for medical professionals preparing to take an ACLS or PALS class.
