Lombard, Ill. – Medix Staffing Solutions, Inc., a national staffing organization specialized in recruiting skilled personnel for clients in the Healthcare, Insurance, Scientific and Information Technology industries, was recently named to Crain’s Chicago Business’ “Fast 50,” a list of Chicago’s fastest growing companies based on their percent of revenue growth. This is Medix’s second consecutive year on the list, with its five-year growth rate of nearly 1,300 percent driving it to earn an 11th place ranking on this year’s list.
Crain’s “Fast Fifty” is an annually featured list including companies that are at least five years old and have accumulated a minimum of $20 million in revenue for 2008. The company must also be located in the six-county Chicago Metro area. Crain’s team of researchers enlisted assistance from the independent professional services firm Deloitte and Touche LLP in reviewing the financial statements of applicants to determine the companies with the highest percentages of growth in the last four years.
Medix earned its prominent spot on the list based on the growth the company has accrued in recent years. Founded on December 27th, 2001 in an executive office space in Oakbrook, Ill., Medix has since built a team of 131 full-time employees, established ten offices across the nation and generated $35.8 million in revenue for 2008.
