Riana Fidele Wins Bob’s Place Father’s Day Essay Contest

Riana Fidele (center), winner of the Father’s Day essay contest, proudly displays the winning essay describing how her father does a great job taking care of her, her brother and her sister, and holds up the four tickets she won for an upcoming New York Mets game. On June 21, Bob’s Place Restaurant hosted dinner for 10 for Riana Fidele of Queens Village, the winner of the Father’s Day essay contest. In addition to dinner for 10, Riana also won four tickets to an upcoming New York Mets game.

Riana, a seventh-grader at Our Lady of Lourdes School in Queens Village, wrote in her winning essay how her father works very hard to take care of her, her brother and sister after their mother passed away two years ago.

“Dad works very hard to keep our family together and he deserves to have a special day,” Riana wrote in her essay. “I am VERY proud of him; he is the BEST dad in the WORLD!!!”
