Dongseo University Foundation to Open on the Hope International University Campus

PR Log (Press Release) – Jun 30, 2009 – Dongseo University, founded in 1992, will be opening their Dongseo University Foundation in the U.S. on Monday, July 6, 2009 on the campus of Hope International University.  Dongseo University is a major private university in South Korea that provides education in a broad spectrum of majors including: IT, Film & Image, Design, Engineering, E-Business, and Communication, just to name a few. Through the University’s slogan, “Top Ten & To The World”, it has established a strong global network with other universities, including Hope International University. Over 2,000 students each year study on overseas campuses.

President John Derry of Hope International University will be attending, along with dignitaries of Dongseo University, President Dong Soon Park and Chancellor Sung Man Chang. Also attending will be the Irvine Mayor, Sukhee Kang, Chairman Jin Chui Jhung of Center Bank, and Chairman Steven Kohn of Wilshire State Bank. A dinner will be held for local Korean businesspeople and a plaque unveiled.
