The contest is a search for the independent musician or band, most able to engage their fans, create new fans and entice their fan-base to vote for them through each stage of the 8 week contest.
Contest Milestones:
August 1, 2009 - Internet Radio Magazine Top 20 Independent Artists 2009 will be identified from those
who have been nominated.
August 16, 2009 - Internet Radio Magazine Top 10 Independent Artists 2009 will be announced based on
fan-based voting.
August 31, 2009 Internet Radio Magazine Top 5 Finalists will be announced based on fan-based voting.
September 7, 2009 Internet Radio Magazine Best Independent Artist 2009 will be crowned based on
fan-based voting.
