Jumeirah Group, the Dubai-based luxury hospitality company and member of Dubai Holding, has announced the appointment of four new General Managers for hotels in Frankfurt, Kuwait, New York and Dubai.
Dagmar Woodward will be returning to her home country of Germany to lead the pre-opening team of Jumeirah Frankfurt, scheduled to open in mid-2010. Ms. Woodward will be joining the German team, from Madinat Jumeirah's Mina A Salam hotel (http://www.jumeirah.com/
Mina A' Salam, part of the award-winning Madinat Jumeirah resort in Dubai, is also welcoming a new General Manager. Mahmoud Sakr has been with the Jumeirah Group for ten years, working as Hotel Manager in the Group's flagship hotel, Burj Al Arab. Mr. Sakr, an Egyptian national, brings more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having worked for several prestigious hotels throughout Egypt, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
As the Group continues to grow and develop in line with its ambitious expansion plans, Jumeirah has appointed Khaled Helmy as General Manager for Jumeirah Messilah Beach (http://www.jumeirah.com/
In New York, Gary Schweikert is the new General Manager of Jumeirah Essex House (http://www.jumeirah.com/
