Honolulu, Hawaii... Hawaii Fi-Do Service Dogs announce the arrival of Labradoodle puppies over July 4th Independence Day holiday week. Angie, a beautiful cinnamon colored mini and Bennie, a handsome champagne mini Labradoodle were introduced in late April and were instantly smitten with each other. About four weeks later it was confirmed that Angie would be having her first litter between June 29 - July 4.
Labradoodles have become well known since President Obama moved into the White House. The First Family after many months of searching finally decided on Bo, a Portuguese Water dog, ending the debate of which breed to get and shifting the attention away from Labradoodles.
Susan Leuhrs, executive director of Hawaii Fi-Do Service Dogs, has worked with both dogs and definitely prefers the Labradoodle to breed, train and certify as service dogs . Susan’
