Clearwater, Fl - Mugs Grill & Bar on Missouri is following owner Abe Moussa’s dream, kicking the popular American restaurant and sports bar up a notch. He has given the restaurant a new makeover from kitchen to front door, a new take out area, and a new name, Mugs Grill & Bar on Missouri ((http://www.mugsonmissouri.com) while keeping his votes for Clearwater best wings and Clearwater best sports bar.
Mugs Grill & Bar on Missouri was formerly named Mugs ‘N Jugs. Abe Moussa owns the location on Missouri and also owned the first Mugs ‘N Jugs on 66th street which he purchased September 1998, increasing its revenues over five times before he sold it in May 2008.
Abe, as all his customers call him, has a vision and for some time had wanted to change the name of the restaurant taking it in a more family style direction. He conducted a perception survey, asking people their perception of Mugs N Jugs prior to their first visit to the restaurant and then resurveying their perception after their visit. The perceptions were negative before the visit and turned positive after they had visited.
“I was concerned that the name was keeping some customers away. After the survey results, I decided to change the name of the Missouri location to Mugs Grill and Bar on Missouri. It has proven to be a good business decision as our customer count has increased significantly on a daily basis. We’re busier than ever, even in these tough economic times,” says Abe Moussa, founder and CEO of Mugs Grill and Bar on Missouri.
“The new look and feel of Mugs Grill and Bar on Missouri will be the flagship for our expansion into more locations. Additionally, while we will be keeping our crowd-pleasing recipes, we will be adding some new, exciting items to the menu,” concludes Abe.
Abe is passionate about his restaurant and listening to his customers.
