It is important as women that we always put our best face forward. But we all have skin trouble from time to time. There are also questions about our skin, are we using the right products, are we washing properly, etc. Today at Curl Salon, we're going to give you some basic tips so that your skin looks it's best, always.
The most important part of any skin care regiment is cleansing. A big mistake that most women make is using the wrong type of cleanser for their skin type. Be sure to choose a creamy cleansers for dry skin, and oil free cleansers for oily skin. It is also important not to wash too often. Women that have oily skin tend to wash too often to try and get rid of sheen. If your skin feels taut or tight after washing, you may be over-cleansing. Limit your cleansing to twice daily, in the morning and at night.
It is also essential that your skin regiment include exfoliation. Exfoliation is the process of removing dead skin cells. Removing these cells from your skin can take five years off of your face! It's recommended by dermatologists to exfoliate weekly. It's also a wonderful idea to use sunscreen daily. The sun causes skin cancer and premature wrinkling as well as other skin problems. Using sunscreen daily or using a facial moisturizer that has sunscreen in it is a great way to protect your skin from the sun's damaging rays!
