“The Chairmen’s Quarters” offers an alternative to using consultants.

June 29, 2009 - PRLog -- In recent months, fewer businesses seem to be shopping for consulting services.  In the past when a business owner needed help in a specific area, for example marketing, he called in a consultant, an expert in that area.  But with the economy as it is today and the uncertainty of what is around the next corner, calling in a consultant isn’t an easy decision.

One of our colleagues told us, “I need to find something that crosses all functions of my business.  Hiring multiple consultants is just costing me too much. I need solutions, new ideas, and tried and true processes.   I just can’t do it all alone.”   Thomas Rhoads, President of CRM, inc. recalls.

With that challenge and some innovative thinking the owners of CRM, inc. started working toward a solution.  “We knew there was a way to provide the skills, experience and education to business owners in one affordable offering, we just had to be creative,” said Rhoads.

“What we have designed is “The Chairmen’s Quarters”, which uses a process that brings together peer executives in a forum that utilizes all the skills, experience and knowledge of the group to address the specific cross-functional, real world issues of each.  The members become a pseudo Board of Directors for one another. Here, they are not alone,” he continued. “It takes a focused, concerted effort from all the member participants, but the results are worth it.”
