Miami residents should first qualify their "clunker" at http://cars.gov .  If the trade-in is rated on the Federal website as getting a Combined 18 mpg or less, the car qualifies.  

Regardless of your actual mpg rating, the Federal website is what will be used to qualify clunkers.  Some consumers have expressed their wish that the bill be amended to allow for actual mpg ratings and not a nationwide average.

Honda Cash For Clunkers Qualifying Models

Honda has a number of new car models that qualify for the CARS cash voucher.  To see the current inventory of new cars at Largo Honda visit http://www.largohonda.com/ .  The program will start in Late July but consumers are advised to stop down to the dealership and research which Honda cars would best fit their needs and budget.

The Cash for Clunkers (CARS) voucher will work as a down-payment and there is no pre-registration needed for consumers.  Consumers just need to qualify that the combined mpg of their trade-in gets 18 or less miles per gallon.  Then they just have to come to Largo Honda to get into a fuel efficient Honda car.
