aMillionJobsToDo to is a bespoke and unique concept allowing users to specify tasks that they need carrying out, choosing how, where, and by when they would like them completed and how much they would be willing to pay for the service.
Chrissi Sharkey founder says “Most people juggle the million jobs that they have to do. Some of us create ‘to-do lists’ that we constantly strive to complete but even the most organised of people tend to be left with stubborn, unachievable tasks that keep getting carried over to a new list. I have created aMillionJobsToDo.com as a place for those jobs to passed on for completion, for a small fee”.
Tasks can be carried out remotely or in person and the fee can be negotiated to ensure that both parties feel they are getting a good deal. All that is asked in return is that clients spread the word of the service.
Sharkey 28, set up aMillionJobsToDo after becoming fixated on a house with a price tag of a million pounds and dreaming of how she could raise the money to buy it. Sharkey states “Although I find my current career rewarding, I know that I am never going to make my fortune doing it and if I want to make my dream a reality, I need to create the opportunity for myself. I often found myself doing little jobs and favours for friends and family so I decided to turn this into a business opportunity. I thought that if I can combine all my skill sets, from my home life, work life and extra tasks, I could complete enough small, paid jobs to achieve my goal.
Any task will be considered for a minimum sum of £1, Sharkey will complete each job with the same commitment and enthusiasm, regardless of how much she stands to make. In theory she could actually have to complete a million tasks worth £1 each but hopes it will be fewer jobs worth more profit!
