All your guests can travel easily to this venue, conveniently located at the cross roads of the A1, A46 and A17 in Nottinghamshire, while you can make an impressive entrance and arrive in style by helicopter.
Choose either the Cedric Ford Pavilion, able to accommodate up to 500 seated guests, or the more intimate Sir Stuart Goodwin Pavilion, available for a sumptuous banquet for 150.
Working closely with you, the Showground’s dedicated catering team will create a delicious wedding breakfast, made from locally sourced ingredients. Or, if you prefer, your guests can be treated to a delightful afternoon tea or fabulous canapés, the choice is yours.
If you wish you can also create your own reception venue with a romantic marquee set within the Showground and let our chefs and professional serving staff look after you and your guests in style.
We also have space for you to bring your own exceptional entertainment, should you wish, such as dodgems, ferris wheels or other fairground rides, which will really help to give your guests a wedding to remember. To cap the evening entertainment and satisfy your guests the food can be as impressive as a huge hog roast or a filling as a full buffet.
Sadly all good things must come to an end and when the celebrations are over, you can even leave the Showground by hot air balloon and drift away knowing that no one will forget your entrance, or your exit!

The Newark Showground offers one of the most sought after venues in the country providing a convenient venue for a multiple of uses. Set in over 80 acres of fully serviced flat fenced land crossed by metalled roads and serviced by mains electricity and water. With seven acres of covered space, in 11 separate halls, they are able to cater for most occasions, from small business meetings, weddings, conferences and product launches to large outdoor fairs and exhibitions.
