June 29, 2009 - PRLog -- Richmond Hill, ON, Canada -- Torontogolfnuts.com (TGN) is committed to offering Greater Toronto Area golfers more than just a golf website, TGN is unique as it provides its members with a community feel and access to golf resources and information through online discourse. Once a year, TGN holds a Golf Tournament to give members and local golfers an opportunity to meet and greet as well as promote TGN sponsors' products and services. In addition, part of the proceeds of all Par 3 Contest holes will go to various charities supported by TGN.

This year's Tournament holds a greater significance because TGN celebrates their 5th year in business as well as having surpassed 10,000 members. As a result of this rapid growth, TGN upgraded their website with enhanced features earlier this year. With a membership base of well over 10,000 and more than 1,000 registrations in just a 30 day period, TGN realized that they had to upgrade in order to meet the increasing demands on their site and improve services to members. You can now browse their site on any PDA, iPhone or Blackberry. Other enhancements were to the Buy/Sell/Trade process with further improvements to iTrader services. In addition, TGN will make available a new Premium Member service to anyone willing to pay for added privileges such as customized profile options, increased avatar size, increased signature size, increased inbox size and the ability to load more pictures. These new service enhancements were received enthusiastically by their online community.

The Buy/Sell/Trade forums quickly became popular and to this day continue to draw the most traffic to the site. Popular golf discussion forums include the 19th Hole and the Golf Gear & Equipment forums.  Popular golf resource forums include the Find Playing Partners and Hot Deals forums. Through valuable member feedback TGN has added a new Club Fitting Forum and re-organized the Buy/Sell/Trade forums.

"TGN is committed to offering Greater Toronto Area golfers more than just a golf website," said Erwin Go, President and CEO, Toronto Golf Nuts Inc. "Our active community and exponential growth is indicative of TGN's increasing popularity. GTA golfers thirst for local golf knowledge and TGN is here to satisfy that need for information through dialogue.

TGN's ultimate goal is to be the number one online golf resource and community providing members with more choice and awareness to assist them in making informed golf decisions. Our enhanced site will simplify the Buy/Sell/Trade process making it easier for members to make high quality transactions. We’re always looking for ways to further add value and benefits for our members." TGN is also concurrently planning its 5th Annual Golf Tournament.
