EuropeAntiqueTrip.com has announced the itinerary for the next seasons European
antique hunting tours. Each winter in the off season the company conducts trips
to the major antiques markets in Europe. This year they have decided to shop in
Belgium rather than Italy. It seems that Belgium with its' central location
linking eastern Europe with the continental countries has become a hot spot of
antiques activity. The three country excursion in February 2010 will include
shopping in Belgium, England and Paris, France. The first stop will be Brussels
were the travelers will attend the BRAFA antiques show upon arrival. Then the
weekend will be spent picking bargains at the flea markets at Sablon and Marolles.
stops are also planned at selected wholesale sources. On Monday the travelers will
fly to Nottingham, England to scour the area at malls and shops. Tuesday morning
They will attend the opening of the MASSIVE Swinderby antiques fair and thursday
morning will find them at the opening of the worlds' largest antiques fair at Newark.
The trip will be enhanced with local buying tours to nearby sources. On Friday the
group will take a short flight into France to shop the famous Paris flea markets.
The tour guides will escourt the group to the street markets at Vanves, D'Aligre &
Montruiel as well as the puces at Clignancourt. Monday will be spent at the huge
hotel Druout which is not a hotel but a building filled with the sales salons of
more than fifty auctioneers. This trip is not designed for tourists. It is a
serious bargain seeking trip for dealers, pickers and astute collectors. A shorter
trip to England and France is also scheduled for December 2009. The company has
inexpensive shipping arrangements in place.Interested travelers should contact
