Ron Palmer Youth Basketball Camp Accepting Registration

PR Log (Press Release) – Jun 28, 2009 – The Ron Palmer Elite Summer Basketball Camp is now accepting applications for its 2009 summer session. Boys and girls, ages 10-14, receive individual and group instruction on the fundamentals of basketball taught by the legendary and former Long Beach Poly Coach and his staff.

The camp begins on August 12 and ends on August 16, 2009. The cost is $325 per child.

Our program is a comprehensive five-day high level basketball instruction and math intervention event. It is designed to work on development of the whole person and includes activities that deal with character building, improving and enhancing the athletic and academic abilities of the participants.

Along with basketball, campers receive tutoring and instruction in Math and language arts. These classes are taught by dynamic and specially selected instructors who offer creative solutions to problems in Algebra, Geometry and English.

This year our camp is hosted at California State University, Long Beach. Students stay on campus and are guests for five days and four nights with all meals and activities included. Our success in past years was phenomenal and we are looking for even greater success this year.
