Martial Artists Fighting Hunger
We’re in the planning stages of organizing 3 events for the martial arts community to come together for a day of friendship, skills competition, and collecting food for local food banks. The only costs will be a donation of food. Our first event will help the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.
We plan to have media on hand so this will be a great way to meet others, get publicity for your school, and help others. Please help us spread the word. The dates are not finalized and we'll send out event invitations as they are set. Our event blog is online at http://www.martialartistsfightinghunger.wordpress.com. All schools that help promote this event will receive a link to their website from the blog as will schools that participate.
This is a time of great need for the food banks and a low cost way for martial arts schools to come together for a day of fun. We invite all martial arts schools, regardless of style, to join with us to help the needy.
