Los Angeles Nissan Dealer Ready For Cash For Clunkers

PR Log (Press Release) – Jun 27, 2009 – Consumer in Los Angeles looking to take advantage of the Cash for Clunkers voucher, which is called the Car Allowance Rebate System (CARS) by the Federal government, should first qualify their "clunker" at http://cars.gov .  

If the trade-in is rated on the Federal website as getting a Combined 18 mpg or less, the car qualifies.   Regardless if your  actual mpg rating, the Federal website is what will be used to qualify clunkers.

Nissan Cash For Clunkers Qualifying Models

Nissan has a number of new car models that qualify for the CARS cash voucher.  To see the current inventory of new cars at Universal Nissan visit:  http://www.universalnissan.com.   The program will start in Late July but consumers are advised to stop down to the dealership and research which Nissan cars would best fit their needs and budget.

The Cash for Clunkers (CARS) voucher will work as a down-payment and there is no pre-registration needed for consumers.  Consumers just need to qualify that the combined mpg of their trade-in gets 18 or less miles per gallon.  Then they just have to come to Universal Nissan to get into a fuel efficient Nissan car.
