PRLog (Press Release) – Jun 26, 2009 – 4th of July Key West Benefit Blast. A Bar Stroll in Red, White, and Blue!
Rick Dostal announces the inaugural, "4th of July Benefit Blast" along the Historic Key West Boardwalk, to benefit our military service members serving worldwide.
The event kicks off at Sunset Pier, Ocean Key Resort at 2 pm with a U.S. Navy Honor Guard, and the local, V-Ray Blues Band. Proud sponsors offering a "taste", also include, Island Dogs Bar, Rum Barrel, Wine by the Water(at The Galleon), Kermit’s Key Lime Shoppe, Schooner Wharf Bar, Turtle Kraals, and Dante's in that order along the Boardwalk.
Cindy Jefferson's graphics, Gemini Printing, and First State Bank have also pitched in to help out.
Benefiting Forgotten Soldiers Outreach (ForgottenSoldiers.org), a national non-profit organization that sends monthly “We Care” packages to soldiers serving overseas. The Benefit Blast Bar Stroll T-Shirt and Taste Tickets, can be purchased for $25 at Dante’s, Turtle Kraals, Schooner Wharf, Wine by the Water, and also Coffee Plantation. Tickets will also be sold at Sunset Pier, the day of the event. "If not already sold out, cautions Rick Dostal, event organizer, a limited number are available".
The $25 donation includes beer, cocktails, key lime pie, watermelon, entertainment, the collectible commemorative T-Shirt, special celebration at Dante’s with prizes for the best Uncle Sam costume and a raffle!
