The evening featured a gallery showcase of works by locally renowned artists of the Artists of Yardley Group, wine tasting by the Wine Merchant, catering by Lilly’s Gourmet, and raffles from local area businesses. Two beautiful Newtown Walk model homes served as the backdrops for numerous works of art by local artists including painting and portraits by award-winning artist, John Ennis, and photography by Derek Jecxz. Raffle prizes were donated by current Newtown Walk homeowners and local area businesses, and included a flat screen television, tickets to a Philadelphia Phillies game, an elegant runner from Arya Oriental Rugs in Newtown, and a gift basket of services from Le Med Spa in Buckingham. Karen Traten, a representative from the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Philadelphia and Susquehanna Valley was on hand throughout the evening, as well as a very special guest hostess invited by Toll Brothers. Just six years old, Caitlin, a Make-A-Wish recipient, attended the event and shared her story about her dream come true made possible by the Make-A-Wish Foundation®. “We are thrilled to sponsor this event as a way of giving back to the community and helping children in need,” said Kristin Nelson, sales manager. “The event was a big success and Toll Brothers is glad to have been a part of it.” Proceeds from the art sale as well as personal donations benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Philadelphia and Susquehanna Valley.
