PRESS RELEASE +++++ OutSec FileManager now compatible with Apple iPhone ++++++ PRESS RELEASE
OutSec, the UK's leading online transcription and typing support service, continues to demonstrate its intention of making it as easy as possible to access their network of internet secretaries with a new facility that allows iPhones to be used as digital recorders. The unique FileManager program developed by OutSec can now take files dictated directly from an iPhone without the need to transfer them first onto a PC. An application called JMDicate, which can be downloaded from the iTunes store, allows the creation of digitally recorded soundfiles. This software will also allow instant transfer through FTP of files direct to FileManager for those with wifi access. All the functionality of FileManager is retained with email confirmation of successful receipt of files. This follows hard on the heels of the new secure webpage recently developed by OutSec which already makes transfer and collection of files even smoother than ever before.
"The iPhone is a crucial business device" says Richard Phillips, Operations Director of OutSec, " and this new software brings us one step closer to enabling our clients to access OutSec services from any mobile location. The inital response has been tremendous and we fully expect many of our clients, old and new, to move to this new service. This app is perfect for those who already have an iPhone and dictate a lot."
OutSec works with surveyors, doctors, lawyers and many other areas of UK industry, providing internet access to highly qualified British secretaries on a pay-as-you-go basis. Demand for outsourcing of typing is running at unprecedented levels and is a direct response to the current economic climate. This new and clever application is sure to create even more interest in OutSec services.
