PROSPECT, CT – The Worx Group, one of Connecticut’
s leading strategic marketing agencies, has promoted Grant Copeland to President and Steve Harris to Chief Strategic Officer, effective immediately. The promotions are a direct result of the agency’s record growth in 2009 and a method of building the infrastructure to support an elevated level of strategic marketing value provided to the agency’s clients.
Copeland will continue to lead branding and communications initiatives as Chief Creative Officer, and will also have oversight responsibilities for positioning and business development goals. Harris will head business, communications and technology strategies, as well as measurement and analytics for top-level marketing campaigns.
“Grant and Steve have been largely responsible for driving the agency forward, by maintaining our pedigree as a leading marketing and interactive firm while augmenting this with new strategies in branding, social media and integrated campaigns,” commented Joe Gugliotti, Managing Member. “With their passion and direction, our clients will continue to get a mix of progressive strategy, creative and technology no other regional agency can provide.”
Both Copeland and Harris were previously Vice Presidents at The Worx Group. Copeland joined in 2005 from i2i Creative, a Cheshire-based agency he co-founded and owned. Harris arrived in 2006 after serving as a director in the New York offices of J. Walter Thompson.
