2009 GMC Sierra Truck
There have been some major improvements in the Sierra lineup since 2007. Available vehicles include the 2009 GMC Sierra 1500 as a base Work Truck (WT), an SL, an SLE1 and SLE2 models, and an SLT trim. The SLT trim comes with an option of either rear or all wheel drive.
For the more adventurous truck owner, there is also a Z71 package with advanced add-ons like the All Terrain. Customers also have an option of three cab styles- regular, extended, and crew cab to ensure a model/ cab and bed amalgamation for every use. The basic standard engine in the Sierra 1500 is a 4.3 liter V-6 with 195 horsepower. The 1500 is one of the most nimble and agile full sized pick up trucks to drive. It has strong unrestrained steering and a refined engine. With the 1500 you also get a 15 mpg city and 20 mpg highway.
The Sierra All Terrain model caters to the off-road crowd and builds on to the existing Z71 off road package. It’s stylish, refined and capable with features that combine dexterity and ingenuity in a truck that is ready for anything. The 2009 Sierra All Terrain has a standard 5.3 Liter V8 with an optional 6.0 Liter V8. The All Terrain includes, skid plates, locking rear differential and high-capacity air cleaners, 18-inch chrome wheels, chrome grille, and interior side moldings with chrome accents and handles, dark cloth seating, Rancho Tenneco shocks, and All Terrain emblems on the front fenders. The All Terrain is offered in 6 exterior colors (red, black silver, dark gray, white and light gray) it also has a trailer package option available.
