Pop Test™ Non Invasive Glucose Testing System Introduced at Medical Diagnostic and Devices Event

June 25, 2009 - PRLog -- Pop Test, the user friendly, non-invasive, saliva-based, diagnostic device for screening and monitoring glucose levels in people with diabetes was introduced at the MDDexec medical devices and diagnostic conference on Tuesday June 23rd, 2009 in Boston, Massachusetts. Inventor, Randi Altschul and industry veteran, John Gregg, spoke at the event introducing a case study for their ground breaking platform.

Interest was strong with both domestic and developing world opportunities for wide spread diagnostic use in the advancement of public health.

The POP TEST™ is a credit card sized, saliva-based, diagnostic device for monitoring glucose levels in people with diabetes. It works in a simple three stage process:

Step 1: Bend out the stem of the POP TEST™ diagnostic
Step 2: Apply a small amount of saliva by licking the end of the pop
Step 3: Bend back the pop to compare color change against chart


POP TEST™ LLC has entered discussions with a number of large medical products companies, as potential partners for the commercialization and launch of the POP TEST™ device. The POP TEST™ diagnostic “lollipop” platform includes testing devices for the levels of cholesterol, stress (cortisol), alcohol, ketone, drug presence and pregnancy.  

POP TEST, LLC has expanded its intellectual property to a number of new devices including an insulin delivery system.
