(Press Release) - Houston, Texas - As you drive to the theater, it was obvious there was an event taking place at Studio Movie Grill on Wednesday night. The two brand new Audi cars sitting on the sidewalk in front of the theater gave it away!
The lines started forming two hours before the start of the premiere of the summer's hottest movie; Transformers:
Guests of Audi West Houston, Houston's Premier Audi Dealer, enjoyed dinner, popcorn, cookies, and refreshments as they watched this year's blockbuster. "This was a great event!", said one guest. "The food was great, the raffle prizes that were given out prior to the movie were a bonus, and the movie was terrific", she continued.
The festivities were orchestrated by Dave Easley, General Manager of Audi West Houston and by Joe Irpino, General Sales Manager of the dealership. "This is a perfect way for our customers to be given an opportunity to enjoy the Audi way of life", said Easley. "Our customers enjoy family-oriented events where they can interact with their fellow Audi owners."
The Audi national advertising campaign has been enjoyed by the current Audi owners and a welcome sight for the West Houston Audi dealer. "We saw the Audi transform into one of the robots and we felt proud to be Audi owners". Audi has definitely scored a home run with their placement in the movie."
The VIP guests were invited to celebrate the premier of the movie, which featured an Audi R8, the exclusive sports car of the Audi brand. The R8 was also featured in the movie "Iron Man", which starred Robert Downey, Jr.
At the end of the movie, each guest thanked Joe Irpino for his kindness. One guest said, "I am on my way to the dealership tomorrow. My daughter is going off to school and this is definitely the type of company I want her associated with." An employee of theater said, " I love the Audi A4. Every time I see one on the road, I say to myself, I am going to have one of those one day."
