Amazing Video Contest 2009, Tourism Thailand

“The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has launched “Amazing Experience Video Contest 2009” activity in the concept of “Share the World, Your Amazing Thailand” to encourage tourists around the world to participate in the "Amazing Thailand Grand Sale 2009" campaign staring from June 1st to August 31st, 2009.
Participated travelers will have an opportunity to win over Baht 120,000 prizes simply by uploading video clips of their most amazing experiences in Thailand to: http://tourismthailand.org/
There are over Baht 120,000 prizes to be won, including free room in the Luxury and Boutique Hotels in Phuket, Bangkok and Pai (Mae Hong Son). Shopping Vouchers at Siamparagon, Siam Discovery and Central, plus Entertainment tickets from Major Cineplex, EGV, Major Bowl and Blu-O Bowling. Video submission period is from 1 June 2009 to 31 August 2009 and voting period is from 1 June 2009 – 10 September 2009. Three winners will be announced on 15 September 2009 on the Amazing Video Contest 2009 mini site and will be sent an e-mail declaring as the winners. Public voting mechanics and execution will be done at the sole discretion of Tourism Authority of Thailand.
TAT will also upload all selected video clips to social media networking sites such as www.youtube.com, www.travelistic.com, www.facebook.com, www.myspace.com in order to create an inspiration for the online tourists around the world to visit Thailand.
TAT has realized the massive potential that this new channel provide for e-marketing to build stronger relationships with the web-communities and do believe that the Amazing Experience Video Contest 2009 will provide excellent first-hand tourism information to social networking site users which will help promote tourism in Thailand and will let people worldwide to have confidence in traveling to Thailand.
