The City of Tupelo Department of Parks and Recreation will host an All America Beach Party in Ballard Park on Saturday, July 4 in Tupelo, Miss., featuring food, entertainment and fun activities for the whole family.
“This event is a great way to kick back, relax and celebrate our nation’s independence, as well as the arrival of summertime,”
Food vendors will be set up by noon, and attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to enjoy a great day in the park. Activities will also start at noon and include inflatable water slides, a rock climbing wall, a skate demonstration, and a four-on-four sand volleyball tournament. The cost to enter the volleyball tournament is $60 per team, and there will be men, women and co-ed divisions. Fireworks will start at 9:30 p.m. and provide a great finale to the evening.
A wide variety of musical entertainment starting at 4:30 p.m. offers something for every interest and is sure to keep guests excited. The line-up includes Stone Lizard, All America City Talent contest winners, John Milstead, Margarita Beach, and the Tupelo Symphony Orchestra and Community Chorus.
