NetSecure Technologies Ltd., a Regina-based internet security company, added another accolade to its list of awards when The Advanced Card Technology Association of Canada presented it with a Canadian Innovation award. This prestigious award was presented on June 18 at an awards luncheon held during Cardware 09, an electronic payment industry convention. NetSecure won the Canadian Innovation Award for their product - SmartSwipe, a home credit card reader for secure online shopping.
The Canadian Innovation Award tops off an already exciting year in which the SmartSwipe was named to PC World's list of Ten Cool New Mobile Gadgets, and its debut on dell.ca
NetSecure Technologies' President/Chief Executive Officer, Daniel McCann said, “Receiving this award helps us to know that we're on the right track. Hopefully this will be the first step to making it completely safe to shop and bank online.”
