Smokers Space a new social network website opened its doors today to users. The purpose of this website is to inform smokers of places they can go and indulge in their habit without feeling like social outcasts.
A little over six months ago, a friend and I were sitting around talking about what type of website was missing from the net. I reach over to get my pack of smokes when it hit me like a ton of bricks.
A social network for smokers, where smokers could go and post where they can and cannot smoke in their home town or city.
This information is important to others who may visit this town or city. Here in Thailand for example there is a smoking ban in bars and restaurants but a few bars and restaurants bend the rules a little. Bet you want to know where, well now smokers can give other smokers that information.
This website is not just for the grey areas but also can contain information of where we can legally smoke in airports. I travel a lot and before I leave I'd like to know where the smokers sections are in a particular airport. If this site takes off like I know it will smokers from around the world will populate the site with this kind of relevant information.
Hey we pay taxes too and all the governments in the world love to tax us to death. We all know smoking is not good for us and we all know its a stupid habit but hey we like it and we pay for it. Now we have a forum to share this esoteric information with others like us.
