"GOD'S EARS" WRITTEN, STARRING AND DIRECTED BY MICHAEL WORTH
The "SKIP CITY INTERNATIONAL D-Cinema FESTIVAL" is a prestigious International competitive film festival which is held in Japan annually.
This year, JAPAN'S "SKIP CITY" has received the highest number of submissions in their history: 723 entries from 77 countries and regions. There are only fifteen films that actually made it into the finals, including all the Japanese entries.
Michael Worth's gem "GOD'S EARS" has been a significant winner at the film festivals it has entered around the country but, what is really remarkable is that his feature is the only American made film that was accepted this year. Highly conceivable considering legendary Director Akira Kurosawa and other Asian filmmakers have had a huge impact on Worth's craft as a filmmaker.
Worth wrote, directed and stars in this profoundly moving tale about an unlikely relationship between an autistic young man and a “dancer” who have both been bound by their own personal constraints. Worth’s stellar performance as an autistic young boxer was so authentic that none of the people who were in the screening of “GOD’S EARS” even recognized Worth in person after the film was over.
THE FILM ALSO HIGHLIGHTS POWERFUL PERFORMANCES BY: John Saxon, Margot Farley, Karen Kim and Mitzi Kapture who have also won several prestigious awards as well for their exceptional work in this particular film.
Worth has been deemed "A PROMISING NEWCOMER" by VARIETY and it looks like he is proving that across the board.
