Jamaal Al-Din participates in President Barack Obama's Serve.gov program. Essays of Non-Violence on YouTube. The topic of violence on YouTube and youth addressing the epidemic of violent fist fighting on YouTube amongst kids & teens by writing creative essays on the topic of "non-violence" and alternatives to violent fist fighting in terms of a civilized approach to resolving disputes in school or in society. President Obama's Serve.gov program creates opportunities for everyone to give.

Jamaal Al-Din, owner of Boise, Idaho's Jamaal Al-Din's Hoops 227 just so happened to be surfing the web caught a glimpse of The First Lady, Michelle Obama and her speech on the Serve.gov program created by President Barack Obama, which provides an opportunity for literally every living citizen of the United States of America to give to their respective community.

"When I saw the video (YouTube-Serve.gov-"First Lady Michelle Obama Calls On You To Serve"), a sense of overwhelming respect came over me, in terms of never seeing such a program invented by past Presidents," said Al-Din. "The program itself, has merit, and creates opportunities for even the common man to give, regardless of economic status etc. It's really a blessed program."

Jamaal Al-Din, a graduate of Mountain Home High school, in Mountain Home, Idaho now runs Jamaal Al-Din's Hoops 227 (227's YouTube "Chili")-the everything basketball & YouTube entertainment website, located in Boise, Idaho, home of the Boise State University Broncos.  

"Youth writing essays in support of non-violence on YouTube," said Al-Din. "It has to start somewhere, and this is a good place."
